I moved from being a potter in the mountains of New Mexico to San Diego in 1986 to study Eastern medicine with the Japanese master Sensei M. Nakazono. For the next 30 years, I had a thriving clinical practice, and for 10 years I taught at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine - both herbs and Oriental medical theory.

Sometime in the early 2000s, I began studying sound healing - starting with the usual crystal bowls and gongs. Then I came upon Silvia Nakkach and her Yoga of the Voice program. I studied sound healing in earnest with her for the next 7 years, becoming certified in Yoga of the Voice.

And all throughout this time, I practiced qigong and yoga - 2 practices I love, because they keep me aware of and connected to my body -- my home while I'm on this earth.

Now I've created my own version of Qigong Sound Healing, where I meld all that I've learned over the past decades. I find that these practices help all the different organs and tissues of the body work together harmoniously - which is the secret to a long and happy life!
